¡Hola! I’m Alicia and I am one of your local maximice events group experts in our Valencia office. Did you know this city is the place of origin of paella?

The 3rd largest city in Spain is one of the best secondary destinations, with a wide range of hotels, great value for money and many activity options!

The collaboration with the maximice events group in the planning and implementation of our plenum days 2024 was simply perfect from start to finish. Our wishes were not only taken into account, but exceeded, so that we were able to experience unforgettable moments on site that will stay with us for a long time to come. A special thank you goes to our wonderful contact person Alicia, who made our event something very special with her expertise and warm manner. We are thrilled and completely satisfied!

WHY VALENCIA

Exciting city with an impressive backdrop

Why is Valencia called “the luminous city”? Is it the night sky over the city, brought to life by colorful fireworks? Is it the saffron yellow paella? Or is it perhaps the iridescent sandy beach sparkling in the midday sun?

Valencians not only fascinate us with their festivals and fireworks, but also have a convincing offer in the sporting field. Due to these high-profile international sporting events, many new imposing event venues were created, that now can be used for impressive activities.

One the city’s advantages is that everything is within walking distance, or a 20–30 minute drive. Awarded Green European Capital of 2024 by the European Commission, Valencia is a leading sustainable destination.

Multifaceted and inspiring event facilities

The impressive bandwidth of possibilities of Valencia comes to its head in the City of Arts and Sciences, which was formed in the dry riverbed of the Turia. This park and leisure complex manages the largest aquarium in Europe, an opera house and music palace, and various function rooms in a futuristic complex.

The football stadium dominates prominently in the center and the modern port has already been seen several times as a backdrop for Formula 1 and the America’s Cup.

The many other venues available are also architecturally impressive and equipped to a high standard – conferences with more than 8000 participants can be handled with no problem.

Nature and gastronomy

The city is surrounded by countless natural parks, such as the Albufera wetland biotope, which not only displays protected bird species and impressive natural sceneries, but also the thousand-year old tradition of rice cultivation. Out of this culture arose the famous national dish of Spain in its original form. There are many first-class restaurants and other culinary specialties of the region, apart from Paella, that inspire their visitors.

Valencia – a proud, multi-faceted, wide-ranging metropolis that promises both tranquility as well as adventure, thus providing a worthy backdrop for every type of event.

AUTOMOTIVE

Our business unit AUTOMOTIVE understands the specific needs of car and motorbike launches, driving experiences, press and training events. In our 20 years of organizing these events for car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi, BMW Mini, Ford and many more, we have grown good long standing relationships with the authorities, government and police – in addition to that our immense knowledge of scenic and secret routes or photo spots is second to none.

THE

MANAGEMENT

The native Aschaffenburger spontaneously ended up on Mallorca in 2002 – since then he calls the island his home. Markus is the thinker and driving force behind Maximice.

With his strategic and analytical skills and his passion for innovation and perfection, he always keeps the company on a successful course.

Besides coordinating our event team on German-language projects, he is responsible for the marketing, information technology and business development department.

Born in Palma de Mallorca and stemming from a family with a strong touristic tradition he brings that valuable touch of Mallorcan passion to our company. Juan Miguel is the heart and soul of Maximice.

Having studied Hotel Management and Food & Beverage, he began his career as a hotel manager before starting his own path with a very popular restaurant chain on the island.

In addition to coordinating our event team on English-language projects, he is in charge of Finance, Sales and Contracting.
